Broadway has just announced another colouring milestone – their 1,000th custom colour for rotational moulding. The Suffolk-based masterbatch, compound and rotational moulding powder supplier created their 1,000th rotational moulding powder colour in July.

Way back in the August of 1978 three engineers Graham Blake, Geoff Elvy and Barrie Cox came together as business partners to combine design, press tooling (later moving into plastic injection moulding), and production as BEC Group.

Avalon Plastics produce injection moulded plastic parts predominantly for the IT services industry, as well as office supplies. The Avalon factory in Somerset was using around 4 million kilowatt hours (equivalent to 400 houses) yearly, prompting Avalon to look at how to reduce their energy consumption and environmental impact.
