The aim for PlastikConnect is exactly as it sounds, to connect the UK & Irish plastics industries, for our PlastikCity Partners to gain knowledge and work with each other.
Despite the plastics industry being one of the UK’s largest manufacturing sectors, with an annual turnover of £27 billion, we only really gather together one or two times a year at events such as the PIA’s.
Producing a mould tool can come at a large expense. Whilst this initial outlay is worth it due to the economies of scale that come with producing hundreds of thousands of plastic mouldings, avoiding unnecessary costs during the process is still important.
Selecting the right partner to work with is key to your success and bottom line.
