Microgel from Frigel
The Frigel Microgel unit has once again proven itself to be the market leader in aiding technical injection moulding manufacturers to reduce their cycle time and optimise their process, resulting in maximum efficiency.
The Microgel is a super-compact mould cooling unit specifically designed for process temperature control with the ability to reduce the cooling time of the injection moulding process.
Arburg freeformer
After a year-long planning and development phase, the “FaberLab powered by Arburg” Additive Center will be opened on March 2, 2023, at Faberlab, a service provider for industrial additive manufacturing. The two companies will collaborate at FaberLab’s Origgio location in Greater Milan.

Temperature Control experts Frigosystem’s innovative RACA Plus Energy D & DHT contains new free heat recovery technology from the process cooling.
There is a great demand in having heating and cooling at the same time, with huge energy savings in many industrial applications, including washing and recycling and other plastics processes.
Energy and materials-minded moulders are turning to Wittmann-based technology to squeeze optimum value from these important production factors.
Last October’s K Show proved that the circular economy and the focus on energy costs are business factors that are here to stay.

Chris Philpott at Pharmapack
Boddingtons is counting the benefits from its first-time exhibition outing at Pharmapack, Paris.
As expected, the show footfall was very busy: The number of significant enquiries fielded on the Boddingtons stand was also roughly five times that of the company’s most successful exhibition presence in 2022.

Pentagon produces plastic products for a diverse customer base, and the varied array of production components manufactured at the facility here in the UK, brings many benefits to both the business and customers.
Due to the differing nature of processed plastic products, no two days are ever the same for the injection moulding team.
assorted plastic packaging
Since launching two years ago, the British Plastics Federation’s (BPF) online seminar ‘The Challenges of Incorporating Recycled Content in Plastics Packaging’ has become one of the most popular events in the BPF calendar, attracting hundreds of delegates. The 2023 edition of the event is taking place Tuesday, 28th March.

Plastics Recycling charity RECOUP has opened registrations for its annual conference, to be held on Thursday, 28 September.
The day-long Plastics Resource and Recycling Conference, open to all, is being held at Kingsgate Conference Centre, Peterborough. Attendance remains free to members, with early-bird discounts available to non-members for a limited time only.
You don’t need us to remind you about the wider ramifications of the rising energy costs: reduced profits, reduced margins, and job losses.
But manufacturers are resilient and innovative and looking for ways to overcome their energy challenges.
What are the main questions you need to ask before looking for an injection moulding tooling quote?
Before you even speak to a tool maker or moulder, there are several questions that will need to be answered to ensure a smooth process.
