Austrian injection moulding machine manufacturer ENGEL has set a new record with two injection moulding machines delivered to the USA. With a clamping force of 8,000 tons each, they are the largest machines ever built at the St. Valentin plant in Austria.

The British Plastics Federation (BPF) launched the new edition of PackScore – its longstanding and successful packaging design tool – at the UK’s leading packaging exhibition, Packaging Innovations, at the Birmingham NEC on 15 February.
PackScore is designed to be used early in the design stage, providing a simple way in which to assess how design decisions will affect the ultimate recyclability of a product.
