Wittmann Battenfeld UK and Berry
Wittmann Battenfeld UK has loaned the Berry Group Technical Training Centre a Tempro Primus C90 mould temperature controller and a Feedmax hopper loader for material supply, to assist the employer-led training academy in delivering Level 3 Science Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeships to its employees.

Wittmann UK Area Sales Manager Orrin Smith made the Christmas season presentation at the company’s Oakham training site this week.

3DPRINTUK closed out 2022 with news of its ISO 9001 accreditation — a major milestone for the company. As 2023 gets underway, however, the company is continuing its pattern of year-on-year growth and expansion according to its planned internal investment strategy.

With the volume of recycled plastic predicted to increase by 300% by 2040, Broadway’s new product development team maintains its focus on supporting the use of PCR (post-consumer recycled plastic). The materials and additives manufacturer has announced a new odour-neutralising additive specifically aimed at eliminating, not masking, undesirable aromas in recycled plastic products.

The Norwegian company Oldroyd is an expert for the membrane and its injection-moulded fixing product. It uses CX machines from KraussMaffei and 100% sea plastics. The tunnel enclosures for the traffic are more complex than one might think because a sophisticated membrane system lies behind the pipes visible to the driver. This system prevents water from penetrating the soil and causing damage to the concrete.

ALBIS is expanding its comprehensive portfolio of sustainable solutions to include engineering plastics from BASF’s new lowPCF product portfolio (low Product Carbon Footprint).

Based on JSP’s commitment to continually improve and develop the RE portfolio as part of its sustainability strategy, the company upgraded ARPRO 5134 RE to ARPRO 5133 RE with 30% recycled content on 1st January 2023. 
The objective is to upgrade the remaining RE portfolio (ARPRO 5121 RE and ARPRO 5253 RE) to 30% recycled content during 2023.
